Cdfos |Christ died for our sins

Philippians 4:5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Cdfos/Christ died for our sins fellowship Philosophy of ministry:

We Emphasize The Word of God:
-	The Word of God bears the fruit as it is taught with love
-	Our primary approach is to teach verse-by-verse through books of the Bible:
•	To better understand Scripture because it is taught in its context
•	To maintain doctrinal balance
•	To allow for every topic no matter how difficult it might be to be taught
•	We see what God has lovingly done for us & how we should respond to Him
•	To encourage people to read the Bible for themselves

We Rely On Prayer:
-	We pray because we want God to show Himself
-	We rely on men of the body to be men of prayer
-	To be open to God and seek His will in our lives
-	We pray because spiritual warfare is real
-	We pray because we want to be ready when Christ returns
-	We pray because Christ taught us to pray to the Father

By His Grace:
-	God accepts us because of Christ's work on the cross, not because of anything we have done
-	God loves us unconditionally, we are to love others unconditionally

Pastors are Servants/ His servants:
-	Pastors are called
o	To teach the Word of God, simply and completely
o	To teach how to become a leader/in fellowship/home/small group
o	To tend the flock by loving them, praying for them and encouraging them
o	To lead the flock by serving others and by being examples
o	To teach the flock how to make disciples
o	It is healthy for pastors to be approachable and vulnerable
Our Youth:
-	They are not only part of the flock but the next generation of teachers
-	Let us teach at appropriate learning levels but not forsake the youth with segregation
-	God can and will use young people to change the world
-	Let's not entertain our young people, let's lead them to Christ & disciple them

Church/Fellowship:
-	Since God has accepted us, let us accept and love one another
-	Large gathering:
o	We gather together on Tuesday and Thursday
o	We do not forsake the fellowship of the Saints
o	We worship in Spirit and Truth
o	We join in celebration in praying, singing, worshiping, studying and rejoicing in Him
-	Small gatherings:
o	We believe in small group
o	We want to get the Word of God into people homes
o	We have leadership training for small group leaders
o	We have study materials (weekly Sunday study notes)
o	We get to know our gifts
o	We exercise the gifts
o	We reach out to the un-save world through small group ministries
o	We can have accountability
-	God can use each of us to encourage and strengthen one another

Worship:
-	God is the only audience:
o	Genuine worship focuses on God in who He is and what He has done
o	Genuine worship delights the Father and deepens our faith
o	Genuine worship impacts sincere seekers
-	Worship leaders are not the focus – nor need to be seen as anything other than another servant helping guide the flock into a lifetime of praising God.

Evangelism:
-	Healthy sheep reproduce
-	Feed the sheep, do not beat them
-	Our personal witness on how God works in our lives
-	We preach of hope and joy as well as sin and hell; how all need to repent
-	Small group targets monthly outreach to befriend the un-saved
-	Compassion outreach with food and prayer for community
-	Park evangelism with gift packs and food
-	Support missionaries national as well as international

Love:
-	Matt. 22:37-40   Jesus said to him, “ ‘you shall love the LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

The Holy Spirit:
-	We rely on the unction of the Holy Spirit
-	We focus on what God would have us do and who to minister to
-	The Leading of the Holy Spirit in worship and teaching
-	We realize that it is not by our might that we accomplish any good thing; it is by the Spirit's enablement
-	We purpose to continually yield/surrender to Him

Doctrine:
-	Doctrine is good, solid, correct teaching of full council of God through His Word
-	Since belief determines behavior, good doctrine is essential
-	Our doctrine comes from the Word of God
-	Let us remain passionate about the essentials of the faith and strive to lovingly agree to disagree regarding non-essentials

Lifestyle:
-	To live in expectation of Christ’s return
-	To live in awareness that God and that His eye sees all & He knows our every thought
-	Genuine faith is demonstrated in our daily lives
-	Those around us are impacted by our witness

Finances:
-	Where God guides, He provides
-	God is truly able to meet all of our needs
-	We teach that God wants the person’s heart and soul not their money
-	As a church, we encourage people to give out of love and gratitude

Vision/Faith:
-	As we love and obey God, He leads us into His purposes
-	God loves to use the weak things of this world to do extraordinary things
-	We are able to do all things through Christ Jesus
-	We are called to be obedient
-	We are His ambassadors beseeching the lost to be restored

Our Vision is to love on His/those people

We prepare a place where people may find love, hope, truth and encouragement through the teaching of Jesus Christ. This place is where all are welcome and to the point...to come as they are. We are led by the Holy Spirit and rely on Him to give us a reputation as a church that reaches out in relevant ways, bringing others into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We rely on volunteers who are equipped to lead a wide variety of ministries serving people both inside and outside of our fellowship.
As a group of believers who gather in the name of Jesus Christ, inspired and in celebration and worship where we can learn of the truth of God and His Word. We prepare this place for believers to be nurtured, trained and discipled so that they can grow in their faith and move to deeper commitment in Christ. Our small cell/home fellowship addresses the way of getting God into the home. Here people can address their many life situations with God and attain levels of spiritual maturity. We likewise use these fellowships to teach, develop, disciple, understand gifts, use of gifts and be an avenue of outreach to the community in group planned functions specifically dealing with befriending the lost.
We the church continue in God's love for all/His/those people and reach beyond our neighborhood to take the message of The Gospel to the world; fulfilling its calling to show His Love and mercy through restoration through Christ Jesus to all.
