Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Study His word!

We recommend and practice a study method called “inductive Bible study”. Inductive study is when you study the Bible by reading with intent to ponder and meditate on His word. You read the scriptures and ask...Who are they writing about? What are they doing? When is it happening or when is it going to happen? Where are they and where are they coming from or going to? How is God working in their lives.

Interpretation is where most people have trouble, Do not lean to your own understanding! Search scriptures in the Bible to interpret the scriptures you just read. Do not fall back on what you heard or think. See what God has to say about the scriptures that you are studying by interpreting with the bible, His word, His wisdom.

When you have read and see what God has said in His word, then apply it to your heart, to your situation by asking...what sins were revealed, what things to forsake, what blessings to be thankful for, what praise your God deserves. 

But the anointing which you have received of him abides in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, you shall abide in him.
